Values in everyday thanks
Admins add the company’s values in the admin panel. After that, anyone can add a #tag to a reason, like #ownership or #customer-first, and the recognition is linked to that value. Tags match without caring about capital letters, and a tag that isn’t a value is just text.
The weekly digest lists the values that came up most, so you can see which ones the team lives by and which ones sit on a slide.
An allowance everyone can see
Unlimited points turn into noise, and hidden limits feel arbitrary. Pointd Pal gives each person an allowance:
- Everyone gets 5 a day by default. Admins can change the number, reset it weekly or monthly instead, or remove the limit.
- What’s left shows in every reply, like “(3 points left today)”, and on the App Home tab.
- When it runs out, the giver gets a friendly private note. Nobody else sees it.
The allowance resets in the workspace’s time zone.
