The digest
Once a week, Monday at 9:00 in your workspace’s time zone unless you change it, Pointd Pal posts a summary to the channel an admin picks:
- how many points were given and how many people were recognized
- the most recognized people and the most generous givers, five of each at most
- the top three company values
If nobody recognized anyone that week, the digest still posts, as a short reminder to thank someone.
People who opted out, deactivated accounts and bots are never named.
Leaderboards when you ask
@PointdPal top 10 lists the most recognized people and @PointdPal top givers 10 the most generous. Leaderboards are plain text in chat, so nothing about your team is sent to a chart service.
“Bottom” leaderboards are off by default. Ranking people by how little thanks they got rarely helps them.
